Important Considerations of Purchasing Un-Processed Digital Negatives

*Please consider your level of comfort with working with digital files and your knowledge of color-space prior to purchasing digital files from me.  A good lab is necessary to getting good prints.  You will not get the high-quality prints your images deserve from your local convenience or department store.  All of my equipment is calibrated to specific color spaces and profiles, meaning that the prints ordered from me match what the colors and hues exactly as they are supposed to.  Aspect ratios can be a major headache if you are unfamiliar with changing them based on print sizes.  For example, an image sized at a 4X6 aspect ratio will likely not print correctly as an 8X10 without some adjustments for the change in aspect ratio. Digital Images also need to be sharpened specifically for a given print size.  That is, a 4X6 should not be sharpened as an 8X10 would.

*If you feel that your knowledge & comfort level working within these constraints is not sufficient, then I DO NOT recommend purchasing digital negatives from me.  You are almost certain to acquire more professional and consistent prints by ordering them directly from me.

*It is also important to remember that Print Credit that I offer with Wedding & Portrait packages, applies only to prints. Print Credit CANNOT be applied toward the purchase of Digital Negatives on CD/DVD.
